Posted | Wednesday, May 27, 2020 It's been a long journey since ASMDemo, the first system information tool in the AIDA line born back in 1995. ASMDemo was a text-only 16-bit software running under MS-DOS. Later, it was renamed to AIDA and 20 years ago it was ported to Windows.

Aida 64 latency, I know not really apples to apples but the 9980XE gets 53.4 and the 3950X got 63.4. Not really the best benchmarks but I think its worth something. But I also noticed that the test result isn't robust: I run once after rebooting the PC and got 74ns, but after I was only able to get 100ns+. I closed AIDA and tried hwinfo for first time and had same latency. When I opened second time hwinfo it told me that if I enable some sensor system could hang, increase latency etc. I choose now to disable those and I had no more latency (40-70). In AIDA I can`t disable those even in stability tab. Is something named ASUS EC in hwinfo.
